Every woman goes through a time when she needs to show the world that she is beautiful. In March of this year is when I came to this crossroads, down on my luck and feeling that I needed to prove something I decided to create a bucket list of things I wanted to do. Top of the list was a dress I saw that I had to have. I made a connection with Ruby and through correspondence via email and phone calls Ruby promised she could pull it off.

I must say when I arrived in Calgary and met Ruby I was very concerned as she showed me two pieces of fabric. I thought there was no way she could put my dress of this detail together in a weekend as that is all I was there for. Was my trip from Winnipeg Manitoba all for nothing?. Ruby had no look of concern as I left from my first fitting, the next morning I was shocked to see my dress coming to life. As the fittings continued I gave my trust to Ruby and told her to do whatever she needed to make my dress unique so that it could never be duplicated, someone may have the same style and color but they will never have the same dress as she had incorporated things that only I could dream of asking for.

By the end of my stay Ruby had created the dress that made me feel like a princess in a fairy tale with 2 butterflies, numerous compliments and the ability to say I have a dress that is amazing just like the famous stars. You have made my dreams come true, a feeling that all women should feel just because we can.
