"The Rose" wedding dress was great fun to create. The bride-to-be came to me with the tiara and a picture of a rose. Once the rose was approved, a skirt was built to showcase the eleven roses. We used 27 meters of silk mesh chiffon and silk taffeta, beaded with pearls to match the tiara. The bodice and beaded straps finished off the dress of her dreams. Fine rose lace was taken from her mothers veil to fashion a new veil. The Banff Spring Hotel was the perfect location for this princess and her groom.

Krystal's wedding dress

Krystal was fun to work with on this dress. She didn't know what she wanted until she saw the right "look". It was a challenge to come up with enough ideas, then we would hit on the right one and her face would light up. We worked through every detail until it was exactly right. The silk ribbon embroidery, the crystals, the tulle roses, all hand crafted to give this bride the dress of her dreams.

These bridesmaids choose the "dress in a weekend" package. They arrived on Friday evening for the first fitting, in between fittings on Saturday they shopped for shoes, jewelery, etc. It was a happy group to work with. "It just so elegant" were the bride's words.
